Start application of Pod-Ceal when the majority of pods have lost their bright green colour and the outline of seeds is just visible through the pod.
SEED COLOUR CHANGE IN MIDDLE 1/3 OF MAINSTEM

Note: The last effective timing is when the pod is yellowish but pliable and can be bent without splitting.
Remove several pods from approximately the middle 1/3 of the Main Stem. Gently flex the pod to see if the seam will rupture. Note the colour of the seed within the pod while looking for ripe seed. This will help you determine the degree of seed ripeness within the plant.
If the pod ruptures at the seam, but does not easily expel the seed there is still a window of opportunity to apply POD-CEAL. There may be some pods turning brown in the lower portion of the plant.

Still okay to apply Pod-Ceal
